Log Sleep
To log sleep, follow these steps:
Go to the NOW tab.
Tap the “+” icon at the bottom right corner.
Select “Log Sleep.”
Adjust the asleep and awake times as needed.
Tap “Save.”
An alternative way to log sleep
Go to the Timeline tab.
Tap the “+” icon at a specific time on the graph.
Select “Log Sleep.”
Tap “Save.”
Sleep Detection
When sleep is detected, a banner notification will appear at the top of the NOW tab.
You can interact with the banner in the following ways:
Confirm the detected sleep time.
Edit the detected sleep time.
Dismiss the suggested sleep time by tapping the cross button in the top-right corner.
View Sleep on the Timeline
As a user, you can view both confirmed and unconfirmed sleep entries on your Timeline.
Unconfirmed Sleep:
If the sleep is unconfirmed, it will appear on the Timeline with a Sleep pill.
Clicking on the Sleep pill will allow you to either Accept or Reject the detected sleep time.
Confirmed Sleep:
If the sleep has been confirmed, the banner will show an Edit button, allowing you to modify the detected sleep time if necessary.
Why is logging Sleep useful
Manually logging sleep might be useful if you want to prevent a gap in your sleep data from impacting your Sleep Regularity calculation or Reflection reports.
Where to find your Sleep Summary
To view a summary of your sleep, go to the Overview tab and tap on “Asleep” to see your sleep-related metrics.
