Troubleshooting Steps to Fix Sensor Issues
If you're experiencing issues with the green sensor lights not turning on when trying to sync your NOWATCH with the app, please follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
1. Check Battery Levels
Often, the sensor lights may not turn on due to an inaccurate battery level indication. Make sure your NOWATCH is fully charged or at least above 50%. If the battery drops below this level, the sensors may remain off, especially after a reset.
2. Ensure Your Firmware and App Are Updated
It's important to keep both your NOWATCH firmware and app up to date. Check for firmware updates in the app under the Device Details screen (watch-shaped icon in the top right corner of the NOW tab) and install any that are available. Check for app updates in your App Store or Google Play Store.
3. Follow these two troubleshooting steps
If the issue persists, try the following troubleshooting steps:
Force-stop or completely close the app. Wait a few seconds and reopen the app. Check if the sensors have turned on.
Reboot your NOWATCH
Before rebooting, ensure the device is charged and wear it on your wrist.
Close the app.
Press and hold the crown for about 15 seconds until the device vibrates.
Reopen the app and wait a few minutes.
Use the charger to activate your NOWATCH sensors
Place your NOWATCH on the charger for 30 seconds.
After removing it from the charger, the sensors should briefly light up, even without skin contact.
