Data Sharing: Toggle On or Off | iOS
Data collected by your NOWATCH is stored locally on your tablet or phone. We cannot access your data unless you agree to share it with us, associated with a randomized code, to help us guide and improve your NOWATCH experience.
To manage data sharing,
Open to the NOW tab.
Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner of the app.
Scroll down to Settings and tap "Data Sharing".
After reviewing the information on the screen, toggle "Data Sharing" to enable or disable it.
Restore Your Data with Data Sharing
When you enable Data Sharing, you can easily restore your backed-up data after deleting and reinstalling the app.
This feature is especially helpful in the following cases:
Seamlessly transitioning to a new phone without losing your data.
Restoring your data after troubleshooting app-related issues.
If you switch to a new iPhone, the data stored on your old device will automatically sync to the app on your new iPhone once you log in and connect it. This means your Timeline and Overview data will be restored without the need for manual import, allowing you to pick up right where you left off.
How to ensure Data Sharing is enabled
To ensure Data Sharing is enabled so that backed-up data displays in the app:
Toggle off and on Data Sharing in the app settings.
Restart the app by closing it completely (swipe it up and away), then reopen it.
Wait a few minutes for the app to sync; it may take some time for the data to appear again.
